When I was in Dubai last year, everyone who was anyone asked me what I thought of the City. I don't. It reminded me of what Kuala Lumpur could be, fifty years ahead.
I like old things - common place architecture with some characteristics like those in Alhambra, Petra, Paris and yes, even Kuala Lumpur.
Dubai is a bit too avant garde for my taste.
